Denver Clock Tower Small Wedding & Elopement Guide
Hey there! My name’s Iver Marjerison.
I’m a Colorado-based micro-wedding planner and officiant, and over the years I’ve helped plan hundreds of small weddings and elopements across the state. This page walks through what it’s actually like to get married at the Clock Tower in Denver, and includes information on all-inclusive package options for couples who want help coordinating their day.
The Clock Tower is a well-known Denver wedding venue that hosts events of many sizes, but it operates very differently for small weddings and elopements than it does for large, full-scale receptions. This page is written specifically for couples planning an intimate ceremony, not a traditional large wedding. The timing, space usage, guest flow, and coordination requirements are all different at smaller scales, and understanding those differences early can prevent surprises later.
How Weddings & Elopements Work at the Clock Tower
How Micro Weddings Work at The Denver Clock Tower
For full size weddings, The Clock Tower operates like a regular wedding venue, with the entire space being rented out for the full day. However, The Clock Tower operates very differently for small weddings, which are structured around a defined event window with clear setup, ceremony, and breakdown periods. This creates a streamlined experience that works well for couples who want a meaningful ceremony without the complexity of a traditional wedding timeline.
For small weddings and elopements, the focus is on the ceremony itself, followed by time for photos and a relaxed celebration such as a champagne toast or light appetizers. The space is designed to feel elegant and beautiful for photos without the need for any setup or decorations by the wedding party.
This setup makes the Clock Tower a strong option for couples who value simplicity, efficiency, and atmosphere. The downtown Denver location offers architectural character and city views without the unpredictability that comes with outdoor or public-land ceremonies. At the same time, the format requires couples to be realistic about what fits within the event window, especially if they’re considering additional formalities like dinner service or dancing.
Why The Clock Tower is Awesome for Small Weddings…
It’s an indoor venue with consistent logistics year-round.
It offers simple ceremony only packages.
It’s a central Denver location that’s easy for everyone to access.
You get awesome and unique weddings photos!

Clock Tower Wedding FAQs
Is the Clock Tower handicap accessible?
The Clock Tower has an elevator that takes guests most of the way up, but a short set of stairs is still required to reach the ceremony space. Because of this, the venue is not fully wheelchair accessible, and couples with mobility concerns should plan accordingly.
What time of year is best for a Clock Tower wedding or elopement?
The Clock Tower is a great option any time of year. Since it’s an indoor venue, weather and seasonal conditions don’t affect ceremonies the way they do at outdoor locations. Winter, spring, summer, and fall can all work equally well.
What time of day is best for a ceremony at the Clock Tower?
Unlike outdoor venues that depend on sunlight and weather, the Clock Tower offers consistent, flattering lighting throughout the day and year. Both morning and evening ceremonies photograph well, making scheduling more flexible than most outdoor Colorado wedding locations.
How do guests get to the ceremony space?
Guests access the Clock Tower via an elevator, followed by a short set of stairs at the top. Venue staff manage access during the event window to ensure smooth arrivals and departures.
How much does it cost to get married at the Clock Tower?
Ceremony-only packages at the Clock Tower generally range from approximately $900 to $4,500, depending on the day of the week, time of day, and package type. Pricing reflects venue access and event time rather than full reception services.
What is the maximum guest count for a ceremony?
Clock Tower ceremonies are limited to a maximum of 30 guests, making the venue best suited for small weddings and elopements.
Can we have music during the ceremony?
Yes. The venue has a built-in sound system and can play your selected music during the ceremony.
Are decorations or florals allowed?
Yes. Couples are allowed to bring decorations and florals, as long as they comply with venue guidelines and fit within the scheduled setup time.
How early can vendors arrive for setup?
Vendors are typically allowed to arrive 1 hour before the event for setup, which is included in the scheduled event window.
Is there a dressing room or private space available?
Yes. The Clock Tower includes a bridal suite where the wedding party can get ready prior to the ceremony.
Can we bring our own photographer or officiant?
Yes. Couples are welcome to bring outside vendors, including their own photographer and officiant.
Is parking available nearby for guests?
There is no designated venue parking, but there are multiple street parking options and nearby parking garages within walking distance.
Are children allowed at Clock Tower ceremonies?
Yes. Children are allowed at ceremonies.
Can we host a reception elsewhere after the ceremony?
Yes. Many couples choose to host a separate reception, dinner, or celebration at a nearby restaurant or venue after their Clocktower ceremony.
