This is the perfect elopement package for people looking to plan a small adventure wedding in the beautiful mountain town of Durango, Colorado. This historic mountain town offers a variety of small wedding friendly venues, lodging, and dining options, making it a great spot to spend a wedding vacation. While the location is a bit isolated (depending where you are coming from), with a 6+ hour drive from Denver, it remains a popular destination for visitors from around the world thanks to it’s unique landscapes and incredible mountain views. If your planning a small wedding, elopement, micro-wedding, or vow renewal, and want to go for something off-the-beaten-path and adventurous, Durango is the perfect spot!

With my team being based out of Denver, there are some limitations on the services I’m able to provide, but I can still help couples create an affordable stress-free wedding experience!

Photographer (1.5 Hours): $600 + $100 Travel

Flowers (Bouquet & Bout): Starting at $130 + $40 Delivery

How do I get a marriage license in Durango?
Getting a marriage license in Durango, Colorado is fast and easy. Simply go into the La Plata County Clerk & Recorder during business hours, and you’ll be able to fill out paperwork and get a marriage license within 20 minutes for $30.

Durango Colorado allows couples to “Self-Solemnize” which means you can simply sign the license and file it right on the spot to be legally married.

There is NO waiting period.
You do NOT need witnesses to sign the license.
You do NOT need a wedding officiant to sign the license.
You do NOT need to do a blood test.

How much does it cost to elope in Durango?
The only required cost is the $30 marriage license, but many couples choose to hire a photographer ($700 - $3,000) and an officiant ($500 - $700). Some couples also add on things like flowers, hair and makeup, video, all of which can shift the budget for the day.
