Why Sapphire Point?
Sapphire Point is a beautiful mountain overlook near Lake Dillon, conveniently located in Breckenridge, Colorado. The overlook is open all year around, and allows weddings with a permit for small groups. The scenic lake overlook, and dynamic views, provide breathtaking mountain backdrops, all conveniently located just a short walk from the parking area.
Unfortunately…
Even with a reservation, this is a popular public trail, and there tends to be a LOT of people in the area. They’ve also recently changed the rules prohibiting decorations/chairs. They’ve also added new rules limiting parking spaces, which means larger groups need to car pool, or rent a shuttle.

My Opinion…
I’ve planned and officiated countless weddings at Sapphire Point over the years, it’s a beautiful location, and many of my couples absolutely love it. With that being said, it’s gotten very crowded in recent years, permits are tough to get, and the new rules on no decor/seating, and limited parking spaces is a bit annoying.
Keep in mind, there’s a LOT of other beautiful micro-wedding locations in Colorado to consider!

Get Married!
You’ll meet up with my day-of vendors at Sapphire Point (like photographer/officiant) and they will lead the day! You’ll have a simple ceremony, followed by a photo session.
