  • 0 - 6 Guests - $300
Professional officiant to write/perform your ceremony, fill out the marriage license, and make your day awesome!

    My Officiants...
I work with a small hand-picked group of officiants who specialize in small weddings, and offer both religious and secular ceremony services. While most of my officiants lean toward a contemporary "up-beat" style, they all offer 100% customized services and work 1-on-1 with you to personalize your ceremony! You’ll get to choose between a male or female officiant.

    Not legally required in Colorado!
I can provide all legal/practical information for you to "Self-Officiate"—or I can teach your friend/family member how to lead the ceremony! My photographers work regularly with both cases, so they will help setup the ceremony and make sure everything runs smooth :)

    Pastors
All of my officiants are legally ordained ministers, and all of them are happy to incorporate religious elements into the ceremony upon request. However, I don't have any officiants on my team who are active Pastors. If you are looking for a more traditionally religious experience, let me know right away and I can see if one of the Pastors I know are available.

Plenty of time to cover the ceremony, group pics, and the couple’s portrait session!

    Other Options!
Even with my discounts, this stylist can get expensive for small weddings. I generally only recommend their services for couples getting ready in isolated locations. If you are staying near Denver, Breckenridge, Estes Park, Colorado Springs, or Boulder, I will also provide a list of local salon recommendations that tend to be cheaper.

FAQs

What is the fastest way to get married in Colorado?

The fastest way to get married in Colorado is to simply go into a County Clerk’s office, and file a marriage license. There is no officiant or witnesses required. However, if you want to make a moment of it, many couples choose to add on an officiant to lead the ceremony, and a photographer to capture the day at a local park our mountaintop.

Is an officiant required?

No, a wedding officiant is not legally required to get married in Colorado. But many people doing mountaintop elopements in the area choose to have an officiant assist with writing and performing the ceremony, and signing the marriage license.

Can my dog sign the marriage license?

Yes! In Colorado (most) counties allow a dog to paw print the marriage license to act as a witness.

What is the best spot to elope in Colorado?

Colorado has a variety of mountains, parks, streams, lakes, and venues for small weddings. For last minute elopements, the quickest and easiest option is to use a park or public land that does not require a permit or reservation. I’ve scouted most of the state and have some of my favorite spots listed above! These small wedding and elopement locations are perfect for Denver, Breckenridge, Colorado Springs (Garden of the Gods area), Estes Park (Rocky Mountain National Park area), and Boulder.

What is the best time of year to elope in Colorado?

People elope all year around in Colorado! Mid-June through Mid-October is the most popular season with generally warm consistent conditions. Mid-October - Mid-June will experience potential winter/snow conditions, with March being the snowiest month of the year.

How much does it cost to elope in Colorado?

Technically you can elope for the cost of the marriage license, which is $35. But if you want to add some more flare to the day, we have elopement packages starting at $1,300 that include the photography, officiant and planning!

What kind of weddings and couples do you work with?

Colorado Micro-Wedding and Elopement services are for anyone—regardless of state residency, culture, age, race, religion, ethnicity, gender identity, and/or sexual orientation. My vendors and I strive to create a comfortable space for all couples, and are proud to serve the LGBTQ+ community.

How long does it take to plan a Colorado Elopement?

It depends on the variables! But generally we can plan a simple elopement in about 24 hours.
