Over the past ten years, I’ve built relationships with the highest-rated wedding and elopement vendors in Colorado. My services make their lives easier, and in exchange, they offer my couples discount rates.

Planning Price
I built my own website, do my own marketing, and do all the planning myself. As a corporate-free one man team, I’m able to keep my expenses down, which means I can also keep my prices down :)

Transparent Pricing
I don’t get a “cut,” work on commission, or take kickbacks.
All of my Vendors receive 100% of their listed rate (the way it should be).

You can spend more money, but you won’t find a higher rated, or more experienced team.

Yes! Colorado does allow your dog to sign the marriage license acting as your “Witness”. However, there are some clerks that have started not allowing this, so we’ll need to make sure to find one that still does.

Colorado MicroWeddings offers flexible all-inclusive packages, that allow couples to customize the services they need.

Our custom packages can include any combination of the following: Planner, Photographer, Officiant, Florist, Videographer, Stylist, and Venue.

However, you are not required to use any of these services, which means you only pay for what you actually need :)

Colorado does not require you to have witnesses at the wedding, or sign the marriage license. The “Witness” signature lines on the Colorado marriage license are optional, and can be filled out for fun if you’d like.

Yes! You can have a wedding at a rental home, VRBO, or AirBnB in Colorado, however you have to make sure to follow all county and host guidelines. Keep in mind, many rental homes have “no event” policies, that forbid you from having anyone on site who is not an “overnight” lodging guest, so you’ll have to make sure to find a home that allows events.

We do weddings in Colorado outside all year around! The best time of year for a Colorado elopement, depends on personal preferences. January - April is best for couples looking for snowy winter weddings, while June - September are best for those looking for summer conditions. June and September are the busiest weddings months of the year in Colorado!

Nope! Colorado does not require a wedding officiant to get married. The state allows couples to “self-solemnize,” where they sign the license on their own, or have a friend act as the wedding officiant (though they must be legally ordained to do so).

The cost of an elopement (aka small wedding) in Colorado generally ranges from $1,000 to $4,500. The prices varies significantly based on the location and services needed.

Colorado MicroWedding’s most popular elopement package starts at $1,300, and includes an officiant and a photographer, with the wedding being held in a park.

A "Micro-Wedding" is a loose term, but generally refers to a wedding that has less than 40 guests. These type of events often will have a simple outdoor ceremony, followed by a more casual "restaurant" style reception.

Of course the best part of a micro-wedding... there are no rules! Small weddings allow couples to custom create their perfect day.

Colorado offers tons of beautiful locations for elopements and small weddings. The most popular areas are Breckenridge, Estes Park, Boulder, Colorado Springs, and Denver.

Breckenridge - The ski capital of Colorado offers dynamic mountain views and beautiful mountain lakes that are perfect for micro-weddings. Sapphire Point is one of the most popular ceremony sites for small weddings in Breckenridge.

Estes Park - This is the town on the edge of the world famous RMNP. Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the most popular elopement destinations in Colorado and offers a variety of breathtaking natural scenery for small weddings.

Boulder - Just north of Denver, along the foothills of the Rockies, Boulder offers beautiful views of the famous flatiron mountains, along with evergreen forests, and green meadows. Chautauqua Park, Sunrise Amphitheater, and Lost Gulch Overlook are all popular locations for small weddings and elopements in Boulder.

Denver - The capitol of Colorado, Denver offers some nice mountain elopement locations in the foothills, along with unique urban wedding locations like clock towers, bridges, gardens, and breweries. The Clock Tower and The Botanic Gardens are some of the most popular elopement locations in Denver.

Aspen - One of the most famous areas of Colorado, Aspen offers beautiful mountain landscapes for small weddings, and elopements, but comes at a price! Not only is this area extremely expensive, it can also be quite difficult to travel to for people coming from out of state.... it is beautiful though! Maroon Bells Amphitheater is the most popular destination for small weddings in Aspen, and is one of the most popular elopement locations in Colorado.

Colorado MicroWeddings is an all-inclusive wedding and elopement company that offers planning services and elopement packages specialized for small weddings. It was founded in 2018 by Iver Marjerison who remains the sole owner, and still acts as the lead planner.

When it comes to planning an elopement, or small wedding, in Colorado, there are a handful of great choices! There really is no right, or wrong, option. It’s just a matter of budget, and personal preference.

This is a great option for DIY type couples. Planning a small wedding can be very simple: find a Venue, find the Vendors (photographer, officiant, etc.), and get married!

Elopement Planners
Colorado MicroWeddings works as a small wedding planner who specializes in putting together elopement packages. The primary role of this service is to help couples find the perfect location for their wedding, coordinate the Vendors, and help with the little stuff (timing, license, permits, etc.). There are a couple of wedding planners in the state who offer similar versions of this, with some specialty services offering packages up to $35,000.

Photographer Planners
Another popular service in Colorado is photographers who offer elopement planning services. These are generally best for groups without guests, and for couples who are looking for more of an “adventure” style elopement with a full day of hiking and photography (as most packages have a 4-6 hour minimum).
